Masanori Shirakata or Den is the President of a family-run tea farm in Shizuoka, Japan. He is a third generation tea merchant who set up a subsidiary in California to sell his tea.
Den’s Tea sells all kinds of Japanese teas including Shizuoka’s famous Sencha. He also revolutionized the cold-brew green tea bags, one of my favorites!
Allysa White is a matcha (green tea powder) retailer in the USA. She sells online and also at a shop in Los Angeles, California. Her matcha green tea is sourced from Nishio in Aichi, Japan.
